About the Department

The department of Computer Science was established with an intention to cater to the ever increasing needs of the students in the city of Vijayawada. As computerisation has become a buzz word these days and there is no field left where Computers can be avoided, the department is offering a wide range of courses at Under Graduate(UG) level like MPCS, MECS, MSCS etc., With the recent initiation from the O/o CCE to offer Market Oriented Courses, the department has also started a course in Data Science from the academic year 2020-21. A good number of students are taking admissions into these courses every year. At present the department is offering 6 UG programs and 1 PG program. The department is also extending its services to other departments in the way of handling Skill Development and Life Skill courses at UG level and handling a paper each in 1st, 2nd and 3rdSemesters of M. Sc (Mathematics).
