Principal's Message

Welcome to SRR & CVR Government Degree College!

At the outset, I honour our Founders of this institution late Sri Raja Rangayyappa Rao garu and late Sri Chunduru Venkata Reddy garu for their well-intended future outlook and magnanimous contribution to the establishment of this educational institution in 1937.

As you journey through our website, I hope you understand our earnest mission to make a difference in the life of every student providing the much needed assurance to stand upright with academic competence, ethical conscience and professional proficiency.Our institution believes in diligence, dedication and determination as we assist our students to explore the varied learning opportunities in an environment that is student- friendly and student - centered.However, at the same time, we also realize that it is not enough to provide opportunities alone but we need to provide skills along with knowledge to ensure success  for our students. We do equip students with employability skills through collaboration with effective Skill Partners through CSR initiatives. The thrust is always on aligning our objectives with the needs of our students and this focus has resulted in many achievements.

       We are proud that many of our students are stepping out of their comfortable home zones and are awarding themselves with admissions into National and International universities to pursue higher studies and research. The broadened mindset and positive attitude developed in our institution is helping students to boldly face job challenges and bag placements in reputed companies and we fervently aspire that each and every student completes graduation with a well deserved degree and a placement letter. 

My staff has the confidence and expertise to drive students towards excellence. We have adopted the right technology, blended learning strategies and research oriented methodologies to have meaningful impact and measurable outcomes. The academic courses are carefully selected  based on the needs of the industry.           Hands - on experience, real life exposure is achieved through interactive discussions, field trips and study projects. We encourage entrepreneurship activities and start up ideas to promote self growth and self reliance. We are always the first to give students the added impetus to their efforts to obtain a footing in the global competitive world.We also instil Social Awareness, Environment Responsibility and Gender Equality in our students. The very fact that the campus is opposed to ragging and eve- teasing gives me a sense of satisfaction that we are on the right track transforming our students into disciplined and responsible citizens of our glorious nation.

 I am confident that the future holds bright prospects for all our students. The frequent showcase of talents and achievements of students in sports and games and the regular media coverage on  innovative programmes, community activities and calibre of our students keeps the flag of SRR & CVR flying high.

I take this opportunity to thank our esteemed Commissioner of Collegiate Educationfor continuous guidance, my teaching and non-teaching colleagues for their cooperation andalso thank parents who stand by us. With a caring heart, I blessall my students and promise that we will walk the extra mile to help you  all achieve your target goals.
