Literary and Cultural Club - Profile

Introduction:

Literary and Cultural club of the institute encourages innate talents in the students in Literary and Cultural aspects. College recognizes and trains the students through Freshers Day celebrations and through Group counsellors. Student are encouraged to write articles for college magazines, participate in conferences . They are also encouraged to participate in various cultural events inside and outside of the campus.

Vision:

To enrich the students with literary flavor, inculcate creativity, explore and showcase their cultural talents.

Mission:

1. To tap the creative writing skills in the students.

2. Publish articles in College Magazine and Conferences

3. To hone the cultural talents in the students and train them to participate in internal and external events.

4. Overcome stage fears and face the society and present their talents in the society

5. Create future Story writers, poets, dancers, Musicians and theatre artists

Activities:

1. Conduct Workshops on Literary figures and Literature through eminent persons.

2. To encourage students to write articles, poems, stories in College magazine.

3. Presentation of papers in conferences and Seminars

4. Conduct induction programs, freshers day to recognize cultural talents in the students

5. Faculty training to the talented students

6. Involve the students in National festivals, Annual day celebrations, Intercollegiate festivals, University cultural festivals to showcase their talents.

7. Participation of students in Elocution, Essay writing, drawing and painting competitions to instill confidence in the students.
