Best Practices

1.     QUALITY ENHANCEMENT:

·       Decentralization and Networking:  Member in various committees in college and extended services

·       Performance Appraisal: Feedback collected from students

·       Counselling: Counselling of students through Ward Counselling system

·       Guest Lecturers & Field Trips:  Guest Lectures and field trips were arranged to students to gain additional knowledge

                                                                                                    

2.     STUDENT WELFARE MEASURES:

·       Earn while learn:  Most of the students are encouraged to do part time jobs like work in their suitable fields.

·       Free coaching for competitive examinations: LP set, M.A., Telugu PG entrance, CU Set and RP set coaching was given to the students. Students pursuing M.A., Telugu at our Institution and also other universities.  

 

3.     LEARNER CENTERED CLASS ROOMS:

·       Student Quality Circles:  Advanced learners identified and they are made to share their knowledge to slow learners. By this practice great change observed in slow learners. Attendance and results are improved. Team cooperation and coordination improved among the students.

·       Digital Assignments:  The students are given Internet based assignments.  Weak areas are identified and reading materials, suggestions were sent through mobile/WhatsApp.  Ability level of students is taken into consideration for further assignments. This helps students become well versed with computer applications for academic and examination purposes.

·       Participation in Seminars/online quiz: The Staff Members of the Department of Telugu are motivating and coordinating the Students to participate in International and National Webinars / Seminars Offline and Online, by procuring Certification to the Students.

·       Virtual Labs/Digital Class rooms:  Virtual and Digital Classes are followed to provide access to latest technology in teaching.

 

4.     CREATION OF RESEARCH CULTURE:

·       Mentoring Projects:   Study projects were given to students by farming teams to encourage group discussion and team work among the students. They are encouraged to collect study material from library, internet, reference books, and interview with persons etc., this practice helped students, to improve their research skills.

5.     SOCIAL BONDING THROUGH COMMUNITY SERVICE:

·       Awareness Programmes:   Various programmes like important days, events, Birthdays of Eminent personalities, Book Exhibition, Photo Exhibition etc., were conducted to sensitize students on Social, cultural and ethical issues. Students were participated in seminars and given paper presentations.
